Billy's mum made the trip to Mill Hill and left a floral display which was dedicated to both Billy and Albie and their dad Albert. It was a very emotional time for her especially as Albie's passing was so recent.

She then went on to visit 'Billy Fury Way' which is near to the pub where the meeting was held to see the mural and the sign and had photographs there. Click text for pics.

The landlord at The Castle pub made us all very welcome at what is Danny and Emily Rivers' local, beng a venue for many famous artistes. Daniel did us proud once more with his disco and singing and many gave us a song including Danny who is brilliant and Michelle who always blows us away with her powerful voice. We were treated to some Billy songs by Alan Wilcox, a young man new to the Billy Fury tribute scene and what a treat it was. He does a mean Elvis too - definitely one to look out for at future events.

There was an auction of a 'Play In Cool' watch and a 'Gold Disc' which raised a substantial sum of money for Jean's charities along with the raffle money.

People thought it was excellent and I'm sure it'll fast become a favourite with all the fans.
