There followed a eulogy by Billy Butler - Radio Merseyside and TV personality.
The following is just a brief summary of what was said.......

He said that he was strongly influenced by Billy, first by hearing him on radio and then seeing him on television. He said that he was the complete item, the looks, the voice the moves, the hair with the stray locks casually falling onto his forehead. He said that as a teenager not having a great deal of luck with the girls, he could identify with the words of some of Billy's self penned songs such as 'Maybe Tomorrow' and 'Margo'.

He still thinks that he is Britain's only true rock and roll star and that his following grows stronger and stronger year by year.

He plays Billy's songs on his radio show regularly.
