A large group of fans gathered in the sunshine to see the statue of Billy in it's new location. Cleaned and polished especially for the day, it looked wonderful.
Some of the less camera shy fans are pictured L fronted by Jean and Albie posing for a Liverpool Echo photographer.
We then went over to The Pumphouse pub for a fan club meeting and to chat and many new people signed up as members. A raffle on behalf of the Kidney Foundation was held along with a collection for the Nobody's Child appeal which had been organised
by fan club members Susan and Tommy & Sheila and Walter who had been into bars in the Albert Dock the night before to get it started....brilliant!
