Sadly I never got to meet Billy properly for a chat,
only to accost him on stage for a kiss.
There were always beefcakes on the door who
wouldn't let me in, but I managed to persuade a
guy to get me his autograph on a poem
I had with me. He was a long time coming back,
so I think Billy may have read it, maybe the fans would like to share it, the words are very poignant. It's very special to me.
Babs is still a great fan and attends many Billy events and meetings at the statue.
