STATUE UNVEILING EASTER SUNDAY 19TH APRIL 2003
BILLY'S STATUE HAS NOW BEEN RE-SITED TO THE GREEN AREA TO THE RIGHT OF THE PIERMASTER'S HOUSE. IT LOOKS ABSOLUTELY SPLENDID IN ITS NEW POSITION AND HOPEFULLY WILL REMAIN THERE TO BE ADMIRED BY THE THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE WHO VISIT THE ALBERT DOCK EACH WEEK.
There is now a sign beside the statue which gives information on both Billy and the statue.
