NOBODY'S CHILD APPEAL
THE FARM
I am delighted and honoured to be president of the Billy Fury In Thoughts Of You fan club.
I will give my full support in doing all I can to help and assist the club and Billy's fans worldwide.
I would like to thank those administering the fan club and am pleased to see that it is growing as more fans find us almost every day.
We will continue to raise funds in Billy's name to support Mersey Kidney Research, The Heart Foundation, The Stone Fund and The Nobody's Child appeal and would like to thank those of you who send donations.
I am always touched by the warmth of feeling that Billy's fans hold in their hearts and thank you from the bottom of mine for your continued admiration for his music and memory. I would like to close by offering you all a very warm welcome and hope to meet as many of you as possible at various events in the future.

It is with the greatest sadness we have to announce that Billy's brother and our beloved fan club patron Albie passed away at the age of 68 in hospital on 5th September 2011 after suffering a long period of ill health.

He will be so very badly missed by his mother Jean and his family and friends by whom he was much loved and also by the many Fury fans who he got to know over the years. He was always approachable and enjoyed chatting to everyone.

Being a talented singer in his own right he was signed by Joe Meek. Performing as Jason Eddie he had a top 50 hit in the 60's with 'Singing The Blues'.

After much pressure by Billy's fans he started to perform his tribute shows to his brother and even when he became poorly continued until two years ago.

We all send our love and condolences to Jean who is devastated by his loss.

Pages dedicated to Albie will be added in the coming weeks.

The funeral service took place at 2.30pm on Thursday 15th September at St Anne's C of E Church, Aigburth Road, Liverpool L17 6BH and afterwards at Springwood Crematorium, Springwood Road, Liverpool L25 7UN
